I own both this and a 22" Acer monitor. The difference in color rendering is quite stark though. Recently I put the monitors though the Windows7 callibration, and the quality of colors was much better on this that its smaller brethren.

This monitor is much more adept at rendering both lights and darks, and making colors really pop. The darks remain dark, without giving up detail, and with no noticable sacrifice to the lights. There is very little backlight bleed, and overall I have been very happy with the picture this monitor produces. I have not tested it for color accuracy against printing, as I don't use this machine for that purpose.

For games, I use it for Team Fortress 2 and World of Warcraft mostly, and have never noticed any blurring. It also is quite enjoyable to watch Hulu on at full screen. Over all it has been a very good monitor.
