First, I'll talk about how I came across this monitor.
I was on bestbuy.com, looking for an inexpensive but nice monitor to use in conjunction with my MacBook White 2006. I found the Acer H233H for a VERY good price for such a monitor ($140) and decided to go with it. I brought it home after I picked it up in the store and opened it. I set it up next to my MacBook and within minutes I had the perfect setup. The whites are very white and the blacks are very black, and the brightness/contrast on the screen is more dynamic than the one on my MacBook display.
I really thoroughly enjoy this display, as well as the easy-to-use touch controls. Sometimes they may be a little unresponsive, but for the most part I really like it.
I would not recommend you use the built-in speakers for playing music or anything else particularly heavy, as they are not the highest quality (they sound a bit tinny). However you can use the speakers already in your computer or just some external speakers (what I use).
I use this monitor for playing Guitar Hero 3 on my Xbox 360 and using my PC and Mac through VGA.
I would recommend this display to anyone looking for a cheap display that also packs in great quality.
