I considering picking one of these (or something similar) to replace an older PCH and was wondering if this when one of these is connected to an HDTV does it…
overscan on the TV or does the resolution match up perfectly? I've tried connecting various PC/laptops to my TV via HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort and always get overscan and can never find the settings to get it matched up right. I would just give up at this point but I've seen at least one setup in person (HP corei7 laptop HDMI to HDTV) where it was setup right, but the owner didn't remember what he did to get it right. I also figure this is common/popular enough at this point that...
