Serious question. Civilization V (!!!) will be released in September. It's been awhile since I've dabbled in the world of PC gaming. I got rid of my custom built tower a few years ago (after it had been relegated to nothing more than a nightstand for the longest time). Is anybody having trouble with the HDMI audio? Every once in awhile the sound gets scratchy and cuts in and out. If i pause the video for a few seconds it goes away. At first i thought it was the cheap 10' cable, not so. Tried drivers, still present. I think it may be my set up as i can not find anybody else having this issue. Just curious before i go pick up an optical audio cable to see if that helps.
