If email, photo management, MS Office and music/video are part of your daily computing or entertainment needs, this netbook should work out well for you. That is if..
1. You add an additional gig of memory to take the device up to 2gb.
2. Run XP (comes with the device) or Win 7. I run Win 7 and love it.
3. Don't mind the cramp keyboard which is common on all netbooks this size (10.1 inch).
I ran Presto Linux in dual boot mode with Win7 and the device worked fine. The advantage of having Presto Linux is that it boots up in 20 to 25 secs and it supports Open Office and Firefox. Makes for a nice platform if you don't need Windows apps.
