Windows Home Servers are dropping in price and the Acer easyStore H340 is leading the charge; I like that. This server doesn’t offer a lot of extras like the HP MediaSmart line, but it’s amazingly low price outweighs everything else.

First thing after a week of use, installed windows server 2008 R2 and purchased the VGA/PS2 addin debug card. Ever since it works beautifully. WHS was just a piece of crap, making it too slow to do anything useful. Now I have a dedicated drive for backups, Volume shadow copy, up to 70MB/s speeds....
