When I hit "Fn + F8" or "Fn + up/down arrow" it should either mute the system or raise/lower the volume, but it just doesn't. The Fn key still works with other functions, such as raising/lowering screen brightness, but with sound functions absolutely nothing happens. I've posted this under the laptop model and the OS, but a Google search tells me it's probably a Windows thing. Any ideas? Suggestions?

I've had it for about 3 days now and i couldn't be happier! the battery id pretty good and the size great. I'm going to write a review about it in a week or 2

No Apple Netbook still, so I want to pull the trigger on the best of what's out there (which I consider this to currently be). Does anyone know if the Acer Aspire AS1410 series can be hacked to run OSX???
