The Acer AL2216W monitor is a middle of the road 22-Inch monitor. What it lacks in refresh rate or contrast ratio, it makes up for in value. I've used the monitor for about a year and am so far very pleased with it. I am not a big gamer, but when I do occasionally play games, the monitor's weaknesses do tend to show through.

This monitor is not a bad value at all, but it does not compete with the higher end models. For the large amount of users, it is a sufficient monitor. For the high end user, spend the extra money and upgrade.
